This demo version of Links Pro allows you to play one hole at Harbour Town Golf Links.
Note - if you are playing this demo off of a CD, it will play much faster if you drag the Links Pro Demo folder onto your hard disk and play it from there.
To start the game, double click the "Links Pro Demo" application, then select "New Game" from the File menu. To add a player to the game, select them in the "Available Golfers" list and click the Add button. Click OK after you have added all the golfers you want to play with.
At the next screen, you can select options like wind & green speed, and select the shirt color and tee box for each player. Click OK to start the game.
To swing:
1. Move the arrow cursor over the SWING button.
2. Click and hold the mouse button. This starts the backswing.
3. Release the mouse button when the yellow indicator reaches the top. This sets how hard you are swinging. Releasing past the 12 O' clock line hits the ball with more power but less control.
4. Click the button again when the yellow indicator reaches the bottom (6 O' clock). If you click too soon, the shot will hook left, too late and it will slice right.
You can select different clubs by moving over to the "CLUB" button on the right side of the screen. A menu will popup, select the club you want by clicking on it.
